We believe that serving our members also means serving the communities in which they live and work.  We have invested generously in organizations such as Children’s Miracle Network, United Way, and local school districts through both volunteer time and financial support.

Children’s Miracle Network Credit Union for Kids

Affinity Credit Union is proud to be part of Credit Union for Kids which benefits the Children's Miracle Network. Since 1996, Credit Unions for Kids have contributed more than $46 million dollars for CMN hospitals. All funds donated stay in Iowa to benefit the University of Iowa Children's Hospital, providing the highest quality care to over 140,000 patients every year.

Children's Miracle Network Hospitals benefit more children than any other children's cause or organization, providing the very best care, research, and education available. Since 1996 CMN has raised over $46 million dollars for Children's Hospitals.

Last year, Affinity Credit Union donated $28,497 to the University of Iowa Children's Hospital. Locally, since 1984, over $21 million dollars has been raised for the University of Iowa Children's Hospital. These funds were used to renovate the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, build a handicapped accessible play court, purchase pagers to provide more freedom for families during clinic visits, purchase specialized equipment, provide support groups to families, provide toys, games, and laptops for patients, and construct a Family Suite, along with so many other great benefits.
