Every year, Single Parent Provision hosts a beautiful Christmas dinner for single mothers and their children—a night filled with encouragement, connection, and hope. This year, more than 2,000 single mothers and children are expected to attend.
Our $1,000 sponsorship helps ensure these mothers receive an uplifting evening, reminding them that they are not alone on their journey.

Cradling New Life Mission is to address the needs of families enduring the struggles of pre-term labor, premature birth, or other ill little ones in Iowa hospitals’ Neonatal Intensive Care Units by raising awareness and establishing a unified footprint toward their needs.
This year, Cradling New Life is hosting their ornament fundraiser and Affinity will be matching donations up to $1,000!
Give a heartwarming gift to babies spending the holidays in the NICU.
A $20 donation provides a special holiday ornament for each baby and helps Cradling New Life support NICU families throughout the year.
Affinity is honored to match community donations up to $1,000, doubling the impact of your generosity.
A small gift can make a big difference for a family spending the holidays in the hospital.
Health care is complex, but caring for patients is not.
The Compassion Fund allows front-line social workers to identify needs and distribute funds immediately, providing much-needed relief for families.
Helping With the Unexpected
The Compassion Fund Helps cover the “little things” not covered by insurance. Things like:
- One-time medications.
- A gas card for frequent travel to appointments.
- Meals for a caregiver who spends weeks at the hospital.
- Payment for immediate bills such as phone, heat, and electricity.
- Equipment needed to live independently at home.
This holiday season, United Way is collecting:
- Household cleaning products
- Gift cards
- Diapers, baby wipes, and essential items
Affinity’s contribution of $2000 will go directly to families participating in HOPE for Stable Families, a program designed to help central Iowa families remove barriers, set goals, and achieve long-term financial stability.

Each year, the YMCA Supportive Housing Campus ensures their residents feel seen, valued, and celebrated during the holiday season. This year, they are hosting a festive holiday party and providing meaningful gifts to residents who may otherwise go without.
Affinity Credit Union is honored to donate $2,000 to support their mission of providing not just housing, but dignity, hope, and community. Through wrap-around services, goal-setting support, and a Housing First model, the YMCA empowers residents to meet their basic needs and build a stable foundation for a brighter future.
