Day 7 of our Building Better Holidays campaign features Food Bank of Iowa, a local non-profit organization, which provides food to Iowans in need, as well as organizations like food pantries, soup kitchens, and shelters, that share the goal of ending hunger.
Their Mission is to provide food for Iowa children, families and seniors to lead full and active lives, strengthening the communities where they live.
Their Vision is a hunger-free Iowa
Their Values are compassion, commitment, collaboration, creativity, and courage
In 2018, Affinity partnered with Food Bank of Iowa to fund the food pantry at North High School (Des Moines). In addition to our Building Better Holidays donation, Affinity has also contributed over $20,000 to the Food Bank of Iowa’s effort to defeat food insecurity.
