Iowa Paralyzed Veterans of America

Day 8 of our Building Better Holidays campaign features Iowa Paralyzed Veterans of America (Iowa PVA), a non-profit organization and one of 33 chapters that represent the national organization, Paralyzed Veterans of America. Their membership is free and consists of veterans of the United States Armed Forces who have suffered a spinal cord injury or received a diagnosis of disease affecting the spinal cord.

Iowa PVA relies solely on private donations and receives no governmental funding, which is another reason we wanted to help their cause.

We’ve worked with Iowa PVA in the past, through our refinance for a reason program in 2017. Through that program, we’re able to present Iowa PVA with a check for $1,050 and had the chance to meet their wonderful board and staff.
